Historical Information: 4-axle 1000 hp RS-1 diesel-electric locomotives were produced by ALCO between 1941 and 1960.
The many features of the Atlas N Scale RS-1 include a Scale Speed™ motor, powered low friction drive, blackened metal wheels, dual brass flywheels, directional lighting, golden-white LEDs and AccuMate® knuckle couplers.
Please note that the Atlas N Scale RS-1 does not have DCC ready frames.
