This Atlas N scale GP40-2 is NCE DCC/decoder equipped. Its many features include a Scale Speed™ motor, directional lighting, walkway safety tread, blackened metal wheels, factory-equipped AccuMate® knuckle couplers, dynamic brakes if appropriate for this railroad, and golden-white LEDs.
NCE decoder features include Silent Running™ motor drive, the ability to program both short and long addresses on main line in Ops mode, torque compensation for ultra-smooth low speed performance, programmable start, mid and maximum speed CVs that work in all speed modes, and four function outputs with lighting effects generators that allow you to select from 15 different lighting behaviors (ditch lights, Mars light, strobes, beacon, etc).
