KCS 4057, built in August-September 2007, is one of a series of diesel-electric SD70 locomotives produced by EMD beginning in 1992. Over 4000 locomotives in this series have been manufactured.
Kato 1768432 N scale is DCC/decoder ready and comes with a powerful five-pole Kato motor with dual brass flywheels. Its many features include a newly designed prototype-accurate bolster-less non-radial HTSC truck, five chime air-horn, exceptional and crisp molding to accentuate the distinct angular lines of the nose and high dynamic brake, Kato magnetic knuckle coupler, illuminated ditch lights, directional headlight, and illuminated and preprinted number-boards.
