N&W 3524, built as WAB 505 in May 1962, was one of 478 U25B diesel-electric locomotives produced by GE between 1959 and 1966. Most were in service until the late 1980s and early 1990s when they reached the end of their service life.
ATLAS 44588 is DCC/decoder equipped and has a Scale Speed™ motor. It also comes with directional lighting, golden-White LEDs, blackened metal wheels, full pilots with body mounted AccuMate® couplers, and crisp painting and lettering.
