EL 1028, built in November 1951 as ERIE 1028, was one of 1370 RS-3 road switcher diesel locomotives produced by ALCO between 1950 and 1956. The versatile RS3 four-axle V-12 1600 hp engine could be found in service on passenger and commuter lines as well as heavy-haul and local freight.
ATLAS 42085 n scale is DCC/decoder ready and comes with a Scale Speed™ motor.
