L&N 1315, built in September 1966, was one of 131 C420 (C-420/Century 420) diesel locomotives produced by Alco between 1963 and 1969. Many of these road switcher locomotives are still in service in the U.S.
ATLAS 40000202 is DCC/decoder ready and comes with a Scale Speed™ motor and dual flywheel. Its many features include directional lighting, blackened metal wheels, 3,100 or 2400 gallon fuel tank as appropriate per road name, painted safety rails, flat or "step" pilots used where appropriate, separately-applied coupler cut levers, and factory installed AccuMate® magnetic couplers. This model is low nose with a headlight in the low position. Product image may have a different road number.
