ATSF 2339, built as ATSF 3539 in August 1970, was one of 727 GP-38 low nose diesel locomotives produced by EMD between 1966 and 1972. The 2000 hp GP-38 engine was used for local and road freight. Many are still in service today.
ATLAS 10000209 museum quality HO Master Series Silver is DCC/decoder ready and has a realistic die-cast under-frame. It also comes with a five-pole skewed armature motor with dual flywheels for optimum performance at all speeds, directional lighting, golden-white LEDs, and factory-equipped AccuMate® knuckle couplers.
